Izhar Elias won the prestigious Dutch Music Prize, the highest musical award given by the Dutch government. His poetic style in combination with profound research makes Izhar one of the most sought-after specialists in early music, chamber music and new music for guitar. He has given concerts, lectures and masterclasses, and been the soloist in concertos with renowned orchestras, in Europe, Russia, south-east Asia, Australia and the US.
The French guitarist Roxane Radoux opened the online guitar concert. She started playing the guitar at 6. She then went to Paris and Strasbourg to continue her studies. In 2012 she won the 1st prize in the Tagashi Iwagami competition and in 2015 the 1st prize in the Villa-Lobos competition. She passed her bachelor’s degree in 2020 and decided to study with Carlo Marchione at Conservatorium Maastricht.
